The Pine Ridge Girls School has received a $10,000 Community Innovation Grant through the South Dakota Community Foundation. The funds are offered in partnership with the Bush Foundation and will help create an evaluation system for the school which was founded in 2016.
The Pine Ridge Girls School, located in Porcupine on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, is the first non-denominational private girls school on a reservation in the nation.
